If you prefer rustic accommodations, the Phantom Ranch located at the bottom of the canyon offers cabins and dormitory style accommodations but be prepared because you can't get there by car you'll have to either walk in, raft in or mule in!

The Grand Canyon Railroad is a really great trip to take and you can even get a package deal that includes an overnight stay of up to three nights as well as pick different classes to ride in on the scenic Railroad tour that boasts restored vintage railway cars.

You might want to see the Grand Canyon from the air and for this there is a variety of helicopter and airplane tours that you can take some of which combine white water rafting or land tours in four-wheel drive vehicles. Either way you want to make your reservations early to be sure that you can get that tour you really want.
